Susan G. Komen 3 Day for the Cure
The Susan G. Komen 3 Day for the Cure is taking place August 20 – 22 in the Twin Cities. During this event, women and men walk 60 miles over 3 days to raise money to help find a cure for breast cancer.
For the 2nd year in a row, Debbie Bartels of Garry Insurancenter will be participating in this wonderful cause. This year, Debbie will be walking for her granddaughter who will be born in September and her daughter and daughter-in-law who will both be celebrating birthdays during the 3-Day. Debbie’s hope is that by raising money for research and awareness by walking, a cure will be found for this terrible disease, because everyone deserves a lifetime.
